And again, I say unto you that the enemy in the secret chambers seeks your lives. You hear of wars in far countries, and you say in your hearts, There will soon be great wars in far countries, but you know not the hearts of them in your own land. I tell you these things because of your prayers. Wherefore, treasure up wisdom in your bosoms, lest the wickedness of men reveal these things unto you by their wickedness, in a manner which shall speak in your ears with a voice louder than that which shall shake the earth. But if you are prepared, you need not fear. (T&C 22:8 or D&C 38:29-30)
The Fall 2022 Conference is This Weekend
From the website: “We have been warned in the scriptures, and we can see on the news, that a troubling season is fast approaching, but if we are prepared we need not fear. The time to prepare is NOW! We all need to stand independent… but we also need each other. We each have the responsibility to provide for our own families, but there is no way we can do it all by ourselves. We need a community with everyone doing their part… sharing their knowledge, trade, or skills.”
